Life is a zoetrope of images moving at a speed too difficult to handle in the sense of remembering the experiencing of it…

The consuming and photographing of these meals are methods of slowing down the zoetrope and enhancing the memories.  These memories reflect the times I spent alone focusing on the sensations themselves and the times I've shared with close people in my life.

Overtime, rituals appeared: my choice of cups, plates and composition of the food.  Photographing these meals enhances my ability to remember that day.

I started documenting all my meals that I consumed at this apartment on January 2nd, 2008.  I completed the documentation of these meals on January 2nd, 2009.
